At Kindred Counseling and Consulting Services, we provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive mental health services designed to support healing, stability, and emotional wellness.
We accept both professional referrals and self-referrals. Whether someone is being referred by an agency or is seeking help on their own, every client is treated with dignity, care, and respect.
There are 2 options
This option is for organizations referring a client for mental health services.
Who Can Refer
Hospitals, clinics, shelters, schools, courts, probation officers, social workers, case managers, community agencies, and healthcare providers.
Step 1: Determine Clinical Need
The referring agency identifies that the client may benefit from counseling, trauma services, or behavioral health support.
Step 2: Obtain Consent
The client signs a Release of Information allowing the agency to share referral information with Kindred Counseling and Consulting.
Step 3: Submit the Referral
The agency submits the referral by secure email, fax, or online referral form. The referral should include:
Step 4: Confirmation
Kindred Counseling and Consulting confirms receipt of the referral within 1–2 business days.
Step 5: Client Contact
A clinician or intake coordinator contacts the client to explain services and schedule an intake appointment.
Step 6: Intake & Services Begin
The client completes an intake assessment and is assigned to appropriate clinical services.
Clients do not need a doctor, therapist, or agency to access services.
You do not need to wait for things to get worse before asking for help.
